Can not believe we have been reduced to writing an online review something we have never had to do ever but as I sit in the hospital watching my poor wife suffer due to an horrific allergic reaction after dining at this restaurant. We specially told our waitress we believe her name is Diana but we are having trouble remembering,indeed she was informed that my wife is highly allergic to all seafood and failed to remove the trout roe from our appetizer, I ordered it for us to share and although she gave us two spoons she didn?t let us know the fish was in the dish. Upscale. BYOB restaurant in a cozy little intimate setting. The wait staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly (we chatted with them for a good 15 min on a very slow night). The food is amazing and all ingredients are sourced locally; they list the locations on the wall. I ordered the duck with a side of roasted wild mushrooms. It was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms were extremely tender and flavorful. I can't wait to visit again.
Delightful brunch. Space is cozy and bright, staff is friendly. Enjoyed the salmon rillettes and the vichyssoise. Root veggie hash and the biscuits were a little aggressively salted but the egg was cooked perfectly. BYOB keeps prices very reasonable. Will definitely eat there again in fact, looking forward to trying the Sunday supper (last Sunday of each month at 6:30pm).
First time I have not loved it. Food had a lot of salt and muscles were not great. Love this place and even though I am providing this less than stellar review it still beats most restaurants in NJ, always great service!
