Aban Kitchen - Reserva de mesa

We were traveling through town and soooooo glad we stopped here! We tried four different dishes and they were all fantastic! The lamb was falling off the bone, tender and delicious. They make thier flat bread in a clay oven, and it was amazing! It really shows that the chef takes pride in their family business. The space is casual, but clean and friendly. Service was great and the wait for food was short. We often eat in St Louis and this is hands down the best middle eastern food we've found at any restaurant. Highly recommended!

The food at Aban is excellent. We ordered chicken and beef shwarma w hummus and pita bread. The food was perfectly seasoned, prepared and very fresh. This is the best hummus i have ever had. Portions are huge, we could have easily shared one dinner and the pita/hummus. Glad we got two because we had two tastes to share, and, well, leftovers! It was a great value and a wonderful meal. Will return!

I'm glad we stopped by! The service was very friendly, including a helpful suggestion for what we could try on our first visit since they're still working on rolling out the full menu. We had a plantain appetizer and a malt beverage and look forward to coming back for the full menu next time!

Very friendly service, pleasant/ relaxing atmosphere, clean, and the food was absolutely amazing! My only regret is that I don't live closer so I can visit more! I had the Falafel, and Lamb Mogulgul with hummus and clay oven bread, it was to die for, absolutely recommend! Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was very good! We ordered clay oven bread with hummus, chicken with rice, vegetarian beans stew. It was all very good. Chicken was tender and flavorful. Rice was tasty! We’ll definitely come back again.

The dish came 5 minutes after ordering...it 's surprisingly quick. The lamb shank was falling off the bone. Rice was cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh. No wow moment but it seemed like quality food.

Our meal was great. Everything was cooked excellently. The mogalgal was our favorite dish. Our kids liked the koftas. We plan to come back when we are in Carbondale again.
