Tbh it's a tad overrated. They have a great selection of specialty sandwiches but it's low key doin too much lol. The sandwiches themselves are a nice size very flavorful and prepared well. But be prepared to wait almost a half of an hour per sandwich idk if they were just backed up on orders or what but the wait time is ridiculous. Beyond that the prices are high key outrageous mind you they do make quality sandwiches and you get what you pay for but in comparison to places that also have high quality ingredients and also have been affected by inflation these prices are quite high. I came across the ad on Instagram Reels and thought I'd give it a try. Having traveled around the world, I'm always on the lookout for a Pastrami or Corned Beef sandwich to compare to Katz's Deli, which is a top spot in NYC. To my surprise, I discovered that this Pastrami Sandwich is the best in New Jersey. Forget about the old landmark store downtown Newark on Halsey Street; there's a new king in town: Abby's Deli. You’ve got to try it! I promise you won’t be disappointed—the Pastrami and Rye was a true delight. This sandwich was absolutely delicious. Trust me on this one!
I traveled up from Virginia and was craving pastrami, and this place really satisfied that craving. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming. I will definitely be getting my pastrami from here whenever I'm home. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out!
The owner greets you with a warm and inviting smile. The restaurant is spotless, and the customer service is top-notch. The food is bursting with flavor and clearly made with love. I skipped all the fast food burger joints for the fresh-cut fries here.

Woah been wanting to try this place for a while finally did today. Abby’s special sandwich is a hit I’m writing this half way through. Will definitely be ordering from here again.
Food is delicious the sandwiches are not as big as they are online and the prices are different from the online version to the actual place overall I would go back
The food was excellent, with fresh, real potatoes. I tried the Italian Turkey Burger, and it was delicious.

Never Again 21$ for a salad, they charged everything they put in there, besides the lettuce.
