Abe's Kosher Delicatessen

Abe’s is one of my favorite places in Scranton. Actually it is probably my favorite deli anywhere. Wonderful pastrami Ruben sandwich and I always get the tabouli salad. Potato pancakes are also amazing. If you want a delicious lunch when you are in Scranton, make sure you give it a try.

This is definitely one of my favorite dining experiences! From the moment I was welcomed by the friendly and outgoing host/server, everything was fantastic—food, service, and atmosphere. It was as good as anything I've ever had at a Jewish deli. Simply perfection!

I stopped at this restaurant while traveling from NYC to Salt Spring State Park, and also on my way back. It was a delightful break! The chicken cutlet special served over salad was fantastic, and the burger I had on the return trip was equally wonderful.

The bagels are delicious moist and chewy. The chopped liver was sweet but very good. I was disappointed in the white fish salad though. It wasn’t at all what I’m used to from other places. The bagel, cream cheese and lox made my day! Plenty of lox. Reserva una mesa ahora

This establishment is not kosher. They serve meat and dairy and have no certification and are open on Shabbos. Not a place for anyone who actually keeps kosher.

Great Jewish Delicatessen. Love the Tuna Melts and potato pancakes with apple sauce. I have had many selections and all the food is made fresh. Excellent dishes

Left the Jewish Food Festival disappointed. So I found Abe’s. Hot corn beef on rye with mustard and Dr Browns Blackcherry much happier now
