Best meal I've had in Rockford thus far. I was really impressed with the flavor and presentation. We were served slices of bread a long with a dish or butter topped with Italian spices, and salt were served. My spouse and I ordered, from the small plate, duck nachos. The duck nachos were served on fried wontons and topped with red cabbage, a fresh cheese, cilantro, avocado, jalapeno peppers (seems like they pickled their own), and a slightly spicy red sauce. From the large plate, I ordered blacked scallops, and shrimp with pork belly. beautiful atmosphere with delicious food. protect who made this unique menu. the squash ravioli was literally the best ravioli Ig had lived in my life. update: the first visit was much better with better service. the food was still good, but the service was bad. they would not take plates if I stacked them at the end of the table. for an hour to ask me if I wanted a beverage refill I never got, the patrons were loud and drunk. a dame was saved by her man that she fell on the way into our table. in any case 2 different experiences.
