Best meal I've had in Rockford thus far. I was really impressed with the flavor and presentation. We were served slices of bread a long with a dish or butter topped with Italian spices, and salt were served. My spouse and I ordered, from the small plate, duck nachos. The duck nachos were served on fried wontons and topped with red cabbage, a fresh cheese, cilantro, avocado, jalapeno peppers (seems like they pickled their own), and a slightly spicy red sauce. From the large plate, I ordered blacked scallops, and shrimp with pork belly. The scallops were medium rare (but if you’re picky they will cook to the doneness you like), on a bed of brown rice a type of celery, and something from the br...
Everything at Abreo was just outstanding! This was our first time there (boyfriend and I) and we were beyond satisfied with the whole experience. The drinks were delicious. My boyfriend ordered beer from a local brewery and I got the L.V. For small plates we ordered cheese curds and chicken dumplings. Both small plates were delish! And for the large plates we ordered the snake river farms flat iron steak and the hot chicken. The large plates were also to die for. To end the night we ordered the warm chocolate cake for dessert. Best molten lava cake we’ve ever had! Every single item was delightful! I would 100% recommend this place to everyone!!!

beautiful atmosphere with delicious food. protect who made this unique menu. the squash ravioli was literally the best ravioli Ig had lived in my life. update: the first visit was much better with better service. the food was still good, but the service was bad. they would not take plates if I stacked them at the end of the table. for an hour to ask me if I wanted a beverage refill I never got, the patrons were loud and drunk. a dame was saved by her man that she fell on the way into our table. in any case 2 different experiences. We had Abreo cater for our wedding and every one was wowed! Every thing was so so good and we had so many guests complement the food ever since. Good food is very important to us and Karen and Paul did not disappoint. Karen was also very easy to work with and get ahold of. She worked through several scenarios with us to decide what worked best.
