I LOVED this place!!! Omg the food was exquisite and service was A1. We felt so special going on our “anniversary “ dinner, the icing on the cake was the custom printed menus they made for us specifically for our special night. Just above and beyond. Another level I’ve never seen from a restaurant, truly. The food was awesome we got the four course meal each so we got to try 8 different dishes total, and WOW. The highlight was the espresso ice cream dessert. My eyes have been opened to a whole new world I have dreams about this dessert now. Food was pricy but decent, but very unfortunate experience with the waiter when I went to pay with a gift card. I don’t know if this is restaurant policy or just bad manners on your servers part but the tip line was aggressively crossed out to make sure I did not tip short because of the gift card. Considering the cost of the meal and how much I spent over the gift card amount I was offended. This is something I would have expected at Applebees.. Maybe I did not look like I could afford it to tip. Either way I won’t be back.
This restaurant is top-notch. Our server led us through an amazing dining experience with a thorough understanding of the dishes (including where the ingredients come from) and recommended wine pairings. The Crudo was bursting with flavor, the Tagliatelle Ragu was authentic and delicious, and the scallops were perfectly cooked. I ended the meal with an Afogato made from their Simonelli espresso maker, and it was heavenly. I will definitely be returning. Food: 5/5
An absolute MUST to visit for dinner. While in St. Louis! The chef’s 7 course tasting menu was spectacular as well was my chosen 4 course menu. Our host, Harris, was so knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive the entire night! We were with friends and they made the reservation and we are so grateful they did! Will definitely be back the next time we are in town! Bravo!

We ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were excellent. The service was impressive and we dined in for dinner. The price per person ranged from $50 to $100. Highly recommended dishes include the Roasted Beet Salad, Acero Cheesecake, and Gnocco Fritto.
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They provided excellent service without hesitation. This restaurant is the top choice in Maplewood and possibly all of St. Louis. Rating: Food 5, Service 5, Atmosphere 5.
Hands down the BEST meal I've had in recently memory. The Chicken Milanese was unreal how good it was. Excellent service to top it off. Came here for a date night and I couldn't recommend Acero more!
