We recently visited Ad Hoc for the first time late one Saturday afternoon for coffee and cake. We were instantly impressed with how welcome we were made to feel. The staff were really friendly and chatty. The decor was trendy, fresh, bright and airy.We are coffee lovers and are always searching for cafes with the best coffee. We are very fussy with our coffee and if it's not spot on, we won't visit again. Ad Hoc did not let us down, the coffee was excellent.We tried the chocolate brownie dessert and it was to die for. We have recently started going to Ad Hoc for our Sunday morning coffee ritual in the Village with our dogs. Because we have our dogs with us, we sit outside whilst enjoying the fabulous coffee and delicious bacon and egg burger. We love their coffee and their bacon is absolutely delicious. James and staff are always friendly, always making sure we are contented with our meal and service. James also make it a point to use our first names. It is nice to see the cafe is becoming popular amongst the locals. The menu looks good and one day, we will have a nice meal without the dogs.

This cafe is small but welcoming, there is parking nearby and the food deserves a medal.Only open for breakfast and lunch, they are doing everything right. The menu has all the usual light meals, and daily specials too, but the flavours are extended with spices, fabulous cheeses and suchlike, it is a special treat to eat here, any time of the day. Oh and they make excellent coffee and super tea, not the instant teabag stuff you get across the road.

Wow what a meal!!! We were so happy with the service that was provided to us by the staff..everyone had a smile. Our meals came out in great timing and all with a smile. Pricing is spot on for fresh local produce and it was hard to pick just one dish from the menu. Atmosphere was great and setup is welcoming. Cant wait to return and pick another dish off the menu. Recently visited Ad Hoc with a girlfriend on a Saturday for breakfast. Great location with welcoming staff. The venue is clean, bright, and has an earthy minimalist look. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. The food was fresh, properly prepared and of great value for the price. We highly recommend it.

Just home from Ad Hoc,from the moment we entered we were impressed,James and co made sure they new our Christian names and addressed us that way all night as they did to other customers.the mains were really nice as was the dessert .Short but good wine list Will we return Yessss

Dined with a friend for breakfast quite early in the morning. Service was excellent - prompt & friendly. Scrambled eggs with mushroom were divine. Decor inside is very minimalistic & absolutely spot on. Wonderful new little spot to meet up with friends. Keep up the great work!

Since it opened, Ad Hoc has become my local favourite cafe - with consistently good coffee and yummy food, it is a must visit in Mt Eliza.

AdHoc is now my new regular! Yum food and great coffee! Staff are lovely and accommodating. Love the way it's set out. Highly recommended
