We selected AH due to its location (near Curious Theatre). We got there on the early side on a cold day so the Resturant was still kind of cold the bar top is concrete and that was very cold! The cocktail was well made and balanced. The soup had wonderful flavors although it was all one texture (vitamix). The salmon was cooked perfectly (I asked for rare to medium rare) and I liked the olive sauce being on the side of the plate so I could decide how much I wanted but a little too much sauce on the carrots. My partner ordered the steak, and it was also cooked perfectly. Overall we thought it was a good experience with a good price point. Service was wonderful. The vibe here is friendly not st...

They did not have enough menus. Only about half full and we had to wait for menus (food, wine, and cocktail menus) to become available. They were out of a lot of the wine. We waited another 20 minutes just to order food. It took forever and we were starving at that point. And the item I decided on is actually not being prepared as of yet because the menu was new and items are not yet available. Would have been nice to know as I waited 20 minutes. Why issue a menu without being prepared to offer those items. Two of us had a drink and an entree. Our reservations were for 6:45 and we left at 8:25. Way too long for each step in the process. Would not recommend and we would not go back.

The restaurant was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night, which was a bit unexpected. After reading some negative reviews, I was concerned about the service, but our waiter was actually very good. Although his appearance could have been better, he was friendly and attentive. Our food and drinks were served promptly, but I found the prices to be a bit high for the quality. The portions were small for the price, and they were out of three menu items. The flavors were decent but nothing exceptional. I hope the restaurant can attract more customers by improving their menu or prices. The ambiance could also be cozier, perhaps with candlelight instead of overhead lighting.

Food was okay. They tried to be fancy, but just missed some things. Like the macarono--a bit too heavy on the sauce and not quite seasoned right. The s'mores cheesecake--the marshmallows were not really toasted just browned with a torch. No bread/crackers to go with the mushroom pate. Just those little extra steps would have made a big difference. The service was friendly, but a little slow. The biggest downside was the noise. We asked to be seated away from the bar because it was quite loud, but there's really no sound dampening in the restaurant so even across the room the noise from the bar made conversation difficult. My experience at this restaurant was mixed. When I first visited shortly after it opened, there were some issues like runny dessert custard and items being out of stock. I returned recently, several months later, and encountered similar problems. They were out of two of the wine selections we wanted and also didn't have the listed Frenet on the dessert drinks menu. Perhaps they need a new bar manager. The dessert this time, a donut hole, was undercooked and had to be returned. The food itself is quite good, but there seems to be a lack of cohesion that hinders the overall dining experience.

We had a great dinner at Ad Hominem! Their menu is limited, because they use wonderful seasonal and local ingredients. My husband had the ribeye steak, which was incredibly tender. I had a pork entree with black trumpet mushrooms. Both dishes were outstanding! The prices are reasonable, and the service was fantastic. Our server was Emmy Jo, and she was delightful to talk to! We will definitely be back again for another memorable meal.

We were the first guests to arrive for the evening, but were disappointed to find out that one of the dishes on the menu was already sold out. The service started off slow and only got slower as more people filled up the restaurant. It wasn't until we were about to order dessert that we found out that only ice cream was available as the souffles didn't turn out. However, the items that were available on the menu were delicious.
