Het menu de la jour was recht toe recht aan, identiek aan de bediening, vlot, eerlijk en oprecht.Het voorgerecht werd direct bediend, de salade werd al op tafel gezet voordat het voorgerecht op was gegeten en het hoofdgerecht kwam ook relatief vlot.Eerlijke voeding zonder finesse, maar wel beter betaalbaar dan alle restaurants direct naast de aanlegplaats van de ferries.
Seemed to be the busiest spot in town on a winter weekend. We were pleasantly surprised overall, especially with the freshly made pizza. It was nice to sit near the wood fired pizza oven and watch it being made. Service was especially efficient and friendly considering how busy it was. It was dark but I guess there are nice views over the lake too.
Service, Ambiente und die Qualität des Essens waren sehr gut. Auch der Preis entsprach schweizerischen Verhältnissen, die Größe der Portion jedoch war eine Frechheit. Wir sind anschließend noch in einem anderen Restaurant am Ort zum Essen gegangen, um den Hunger zu stillen (doppelte Menge zum halben Preis).
We ate here on two out of the three nights we spent in Brienz. The pizza was very good and cooked in a proper wood fired pizza oven, but very expensive. That's Switzerland for you....The beer and wine was a similar price to other Northern European countries. Reserva una mesa ahora
We used to go here every time we visit. It has great views of the lake but the service and the food have really gone down hill. I was embarrassed when we suggested meeting family here. The tables were dusty and the cloths not washed....More
Great views, great service, great location, great food...It's a great place to visit. The food was classic, but I'd would definitely visit again again just for the atmosphere and the views.
My family and I ended up going here twice during during our stay in Brienz. All of us enjoyed our food and drinks, and the view was great too. A classic place to eat if you're in the area.
