Unfortunately, can’t add more stars to express what a wonderful night we had at this fabulous place last night. Everything in their was outstanding. Along with sensational flavours of the Mediterranean cuisine, we also enjoyed traditional style of presentation of their food. People who served us are such bright characters with sense of humour, and very passionate about what they are doing. We felt very comfortable and relaxed even with kids. If you are around about this area, Omar’s restaurant is must visit place.
What a wonderful experience!! The food is delicious, good quality and beautifully cooked. But what really made the difference was the fantastic service (which is a bit unusual in Australia). My husband mentioned that I’m vegan when he booked and the staff showed me all the options very carefully and they even made some changes on their plates to make sure I had more alternatives. The place is so cozy and the atmosphere is just wonderful. I highly recommend Afous is one of the best places I’ve been in Sydney.
What a sensational experience!! Walked in to find the friendliest and most welcoming staff. We didn't even look at the menu, as a group we asked for them to serve us their recommendations and oh my gosh we got the most amazing food. The fragrances coming from the food was mouth watering and every bite was better than the last, drinks were constantly topped up.. did I mention how amazing the staff are?! There was nothing to fault about this amazing restaurant.. do yourself a favour and book now!!
Afous reminds me of the family style Italian restaurants that were so much more prevalent on the North Shore twenty years ago. You are greeted on arrival with a 'Welcome Home', and although that may seem a bit naf to some I very much enjoy the friendly service and the unpretentious but tasty food. Our group of 7 shared tapas entrees, a number of mains and some desserts for $60pp (not including wine, which is BYO only with no corkage charged). We left full, relaxed, and happy.

Fantastic experience. Much like being in another country. Food was well better than expected. I would almost say that the authentic flavours would be too much or too new for some as a first experience. Either way, full of flavour, fresh and exotic. Hosts are great, although I wish he was cooking in my home and not his ; Keep up the great work!
Just fantastic! The atmosphere created by the welcoming and fun team is not often seen in restaurants today, it’s an experience that you’ll want to come back to time and time again. Food is outstanding and they now do BYO for all drinks too. Can’t wait to come back, highly recommended!
Service is really amazing! Visiting from Dubai and was overall happy with everything! Prices are also reasonably priced ???????? awesome presentation of meals...in cute tagine pots ???? morrocan meatballs were really yummy...but more flavor/seasoning would of made them better!
It was last minute decision to eat out. We can not fault the service, the food and the view. The boss staff were very welcoming. He recommended entree prawn mango puree different and refreshing, we ordered the lamb tajine on the menu and blue scotch was on the board.

Very good Moroccan food! impressive! The overall taste is irritating (salty and slightly spicy) But this is a very novel experience for me. The boss and waiter are warm and friendly and feel the good service attitude
