Against The Grain Brewery

Located attached to the Louisville Bats stadium with a huge outdoor patio. Bar area is fairly large but the bar is pretty small. I sat at the bar as the place was pretty empty on a Saturday evening in June. The beer was the best part, as the menu items sounded awesome, they were lack luster at best. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which had 3 sentences of description that included all the restaurant buzz terms such as “aioli”. When it came out it was just just a dry chicken breast with barely any “aioli” on a bun. The Parmesan fires were ok, kinda soggy and oily, but the ones that weren’t were good. The beer was fantastic, food was ok at best, standard bar food with fancy descriptions...

Beers were unremarkable at best, food was great— a burger and a chicken wrap However, the menu said it was $1 to add an egg to the burger, but we were charged $2.50 I brought this up to our server and she said no, $2.50 is the price. I showed her the menu and that it stated it’s $1, she said the price just changed. I know it was only an extra $1.50 but I found that obnoxious. When there are plenty of other options in town, I will not be back nor would I recommend it. Bad business practice in my opinion

This looks like it would be very busy later in the day. If we hadn't been there at 11:30am would have tried their beer. The food was good and plentiful. Try the pork belly with molasses and garlic parmesean fries. Both worth the wait.

All beers on the tap menu(I wanted)they didn't have ,bartender acted like she didn't have a clue. Tip..when u don't have what I want don't bring a can of random beer and then act surprised when I don't want it. Reserva una mesa ahora

If it's a day without a game, there's nothing special about it. It seems that the evaluation is very disappointing due to the expectations of the rating.

Worth going and checking out for a casual but nice place to eat. Insane hotdogs. Service is good. Could use more beers on tap.

The wings were served hot and crispy. The beer selection is diverse and the bourbon ale was hearty.

One of the few places open on memorial day. The beer is good and the burgers are outstanding.

The pulled pork was terrific albeit a little spicy. The larger was also very good.
