I’ve tried this restaurant a few times. Each time the food has been great (minus the hair we found in our burrito the first time) but the service is horrible. What’s even more upsetting, we were forced to pay gratuity because we had 3 adults and 4 kids in our party. It took forever to get chips once we were seated, about 10 min. Then we ordered drinks, another 10 minutes. Once our food came out we were missing items. It took another 10-15min for missing items to come out. I have visited this restaurant a few times now. The food is lacking in flavor, but the salsa, while leaning more towards a tomato base, is not overly acidic. The green sauce is delicious. The meat is usually very tender, but overall the dishes could use more seasoning. The service is slow, as the restaurant is often very busy during lunch on weekdays and for brunch on Sundays. A $20 breakfast burrito with no flavor is disappointing. The mixed drinks are also subpar, as I couldn't even taste the alcohol in them. We tried this place for the first time, I had a big group with me of 16 people. We were seated by the manager and I told him the table fit only twelve. He said we would be fine because it would fit 16, so we grabbed a table on our own since he wouldn’t accommodate us. Chips and salsa ran out quick. After we were sat no one checked in with us. This place was also not busy. I had to talk to the manager again for someone to assist us. We later ordered mashed potatoes which was very bitter. Their steak was also very salty. The service was not good, we will not try this place again.
Went to this Mexican Restaurant for the first time today, in the area and had some time to kill. I like Mexican food. Went in between 11-12 noon. There were very few people there, but it seemed to take a long time for waitress to come to check on myself or others at only tables, I was seated outside in patio area. Only two other tables that had customers. I was hungry, so I got up, had to go inside to tell them I was ready to place my order. When Food came, I ordered from there lunch menu, still some what pricey.

We had a good experience at this restaurant. The shrimp fajitas were tasty and filling, enough for two people to share. My parents enjoyed the white enchiladas. Despite being busy, the service was still good. The margarita flight was a hit, with the spicier option being the favorite. They offer two types of salsa, with the green one having a nice kick but not overwhelming. Overall, we would recommend trying this place if you're in the area. We visited after a movie and were satisfied with our meal.
Shame on the management! Agave used to be a clean, fun and great restaurant, but now the portions are to small for the price. I should not have to watch the staff eating where the food is prepared.The menus had food on it. The restaurant didn't look very clean. I wanted to leave, but my 2 kid's with special needs didn't wanted to leave. They loved their meal when we went in the past. I will never return! What a waste of money.
I had a California burrito from my son for Father's day and it was fantastic. He had steak and my wife and his gf had whatever. The food was super good and the service was top notch. Don't know about the prices since my son paid. What a good boy, huh? Oh, the margarita was .... Fun. Woohoo
Food was decent. They were accommodating with our dietary restrictions and customized it to be vegetarian. Portion size of enchiladas were smaller than other places but tasted good. We asked for burrito to be in a bowl and portion was huge. Parking could be tricky during peak hours.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and everything was excellent. The food, service, drinks, atmosphere, and cleanliness were all outstanding. Keep up the great work. Oh, and the prices were fantastic too!
