Ahi Ahi Sushi And Grill

This is my favorite place to get sushi in Lake Forest. I ordered the sashimi plate (I think 10 piece? plus two of the tuna belly. It was all very fresh, and nicely presented. It may be one of the best sashimi plates I have gotten in the USA. Service is a tiny bit slow but the entire place has a relaxed atmosphere. My husband got Udon with chicken, it was so big he couldn't finish it, but I think it would make a great item to share between two or more people. This is definitely a surprise for the area which can be hard to find good food in. The party of 9 went to dinner on Wednesday evening in May. We had a table reserved for 10 before. The seats were very nice and fast. We were a bit confused as to order for the table, so our server asked for help. He decided the dishes, their sequencing and the crowd itself. We were all very happy with the food. We were all full. I especially enjoyed the Gyoza, the halibut and the salmon bells Sushi. Strange because everything was really good. We also had some pitcher beer for the table. Overall came to 62 per head, tips and taxes included what I felt was very reasonable.

Nice restaurant in total! Party of two on a Friday night at 6:30. The restaurant was not too crowded, no waiting for space and lots of parking. Choice of table seats or bar seats. They're taking out, too. Our waitress, Viví was really cool. She was friendly, funny, friendly and helpful. Excellent recommendations. Good restaurant for a family, couples or solo! Noise is average. Restaurant is clean, tidy and well organized! Good checkout!

This has become my favorite sushi spot in South OC. They don’t have a fixed omakase menu, so the chef serves up whatever he feels inspired to make—just the way it should be, in my opinion. The quality of the fish is excellent and the prices are quite reasonable. I noticed that everyone at the bar seemed to be a regular, and I can confidently say we’ve just joined that group!

Server was just the reason why this review get a 2. I ordered chickens and the meat was still raw... The management did not try to correct and was at least not apologetic. Take your business elsewhere, looks like other recent reviews of this place speak truth.
