Loved the feel of the place - it was busy however most of the people dining were non Indians. Very cosy dim lighting with temperature maintained at a level suitable enough to bring out the flavour of wine.
Ambience suitable for casual or a bit of formal dining as well.
Service - 5 out of 5
From the time we made the booking to the time we left, exceptional service with a responsive conversation and smile from manager waitresses etc. this was as good as it gets in a family restaurant unless you are fine dining.

Very satisfying delicious Goat Briyani despite we had it take away. The manager said the briyani cooked with fresh goat meat and the chef from southern India. It is a bit spicy tough but yummy. It went well with the yogurt.
We have tried several other briyani at the west Sydney but less satisfaction.
Will definately try other dishes on the next visit to AJ.
I knew this restaurant for years and have been there for a few times. This is quite a famous Indian Restaurant around the area. Cost a bit higher than others but they give you quite a bigger potion as well. About $20 per curry dish so you may expect $25 per person. Butter Chicken is tasty and rich, but Chicken Taki Masala isn't the best I have had.
A big Thankyou to Ajs . Best Indian in the area and have been ordering from here for years . A recent accident with our takeaway going back to the car in the rain recently and our food was everywhere . Thanks to the kind staff who remade everything for us at no extra cost . We are so grateful for such a random act of kindness .

Had a 'not so good' experience. Customer service was alright but the food was not what we were expecting. Had mirchi paneer masala, suggested by a staff to be really really good, which was way too spicy for a human to eat. Breads were alright. Overall, not satisfied for the amount of dollars we paid.
Delicious and authentic Indian food served with a smile. The papdi chaat was crispy as it should be. The chicken chettinaad (regional speciality from south India) was spicy and the lamb kadhai had loads of ginger and medium spices as expected. Highly recommended and we'll visit again.
Fantastic indian food. Had many different indian places over the years and this is some of the better quality indian food you will get. Butter chicken, naan, vindaloo (i think), chicken 65, spinach dish were all great. Craving to go again soon.
Excellent food here at AJs. It's been consistently excellent for many years too. The curries are of excellent quality, and the accompaniments (Naan, Raita, Samosa etc) are all excellent too. Definitely recommended!

Wonderful food very nice dinning! We tried 5 different dishes and every dishes having specialty. Thanks Chef' and Team for making our days!! Hope to visit again and plan to try others dishes and Chef Specials
