We were excited to try. We sat at the bar with Bailey as a bartender. A veteran on the whole way sat with him and mentioned that it was his birthday, so I paid his bill without knowing him. I heard he said Bailey, he paid the tip in cash, so when I signed my cc reception (because she asked me to do it right away), I confirmed that he already typed it. She told me he had it. Red flag #1. We ordered a bottle of wine and our dinner. Our salads came out quickly. Then... nothing. We wanted a bread basket. We ate all the bread. Then... nothing. First time here. Salad excellent good blue cheese dressing. Large thick juicy bone-in pork chop was cooked perfectly nice flavor, side of mashed potatoes. Wife had chicken Alfredo was excellent. Servers very friendly only issue had to request bread bowl and then a refill which never came, but didn't need because main course serving size was very large. Overall, recommend for a nice meal, of course not cheap

First?. Server Seth on a Sunday night is a jewel. Second middle rare original rib with caramelized onions and an upgrade to the wedge salad (candied walnuts and blue cheese flakes) is worth it. The sourdough, pulp and rosin bread basket is a beautiful touch. Good drinks, fast service and good food. Honestly, the casino at Prairie Meadows is pretty lame! But AJ?s Steakhouse and Seth redeem the day!!!

Exceptional service, food and drink. Perfectly cooked steak, amazing onion rings and super fresh salad with really great local wine selection. The place was spotless and very well run. Very recommended.
