We went here for a friend's 32nd birthday last week. They were able to accommodate all 17 of us around a hibachi table. When I tell you that the service was QUICK and EFFICIENT, I mean it. Usually hibachi is a long drawn out process. Not here. Those of us who ordered appetizers received them in 5-10 minutes or less. We had to cooks prepare the hibachi. They knocked out the food within 20 minutes- even for a large group of people! The food itself was incredible. The fried rice was to die for- had a buttery taste to it that just enhanced the flavor. Drove 30 mins from Philadelphia Center City to check out this hibachi spot, and it didn't disappoint! I'm usually not a big hibachi guy, but there are a few places I've enjoyed it, and this place is for sure one of them that I enjoyed. There's a koi pond indoors which doesn't overwhelm the place with the smell of chlorine like some other places might. Restaurant itself is well kept and clean, with clean air to breathe, which is not always the case with these places. The restaurant is also in a cute town, so that adds a touch to the experience. Food itself was great meats were great flavors, and portions were good. BYOB with no uncorking fee is definitely a positive that makes the experience...

This place is just ok. I've had much better sushi in less expensive, not as nice restaurants. I always order one special roll, and one regular roll. Usually, the special roll is outstanding, and the regular roll is just ok. Unfortunately, neither were exceptional. The flavor combinations were unique, but weren't appetizing. They were too savory and monotone. Akira is more expensive than other sushi joints.

We ordered the Chilean Bass entree and Chicken Hibachi, and both were scrumptious. Staff was very accommodating and patient. Will definitely return when back in town.

Great spot,service and food. The location is clean , quiet and comfortable. We also order take out and have never been disappointed.

One of the only places around still doing sit down hibachi. We had a great time for my daughter's birthday.
