The servers were rude, and the menu was dirty with food stuck to it. The vegan options weren't available on the conveyor, so we tried to place an order. The server refused to take our order and insisted that we could only get sushi from the conveyor belt. We explained that we had been sitting there for ten minutes without seeing any vegan options. Eventually, she agreed to take our order, but even then, she denied us some items. We ended up placing an additional order with another server for a sushi roll, which arrived overloaded with cream cheese without any warning on the menu. This is my go-to sushi restaurant in the Clackamas area. It has a casual atmosphere with plenty of seating available. I love ordering the avocado rolls, sweet potato rolls, tofu skin, and veggie tempura. Initially, I received a piece of fish with my tempura order. However, I brought it to the staff's attention, and they kindly comped that plate for me. Since then, I've had no issues with my veggie tempura. As of August 2018, they've also introduced a new roll called the Super Vegan, which features cucumber, avocado, and sweet potato, all wrapped in a soy paper.

I always love sushi on a conveyor belt—it’s instant gratification! There were plenty of options to keep me engaged. The “Super Vegan Roll” was delicious, featuring cucumber, sweet potato, and avocado, and it was also very affordable. I also enjoyed the edamame, fresh fruit, spring rolls, and sesame balls. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal. I’m definitely planning to eat here again!

The food was quite disappointing. It didn't really have the authentic taste of Japanese cuisine; it was more like subpar Chinese food. The beef reminded me of something you'd find in a school cafeteria, and the broth tasted like salty beef water. The shrimp tempura was decent, but the batter was thick instead of light and crispy. I’ve been here many times before, the sushi is acceptable. It’s quite cheap so it’s you get what you pay for. I did get the teriyaki chicken today though, in which all ingredients tasted a bit old, as well as the chicken being slightly undercooked. It was still a good meal, but I’d look at other sushi conveyers before deciding on Akira sushi.

The California roll is absolutely delightful, and their prices are fantastic! I really appreciate how they offer large trays of sushi that circulate around the restaurant, unlike other places where you only get one plate at a time and have to wait ages to find something you want.

Great prices on adequate sushi if you’re in a hurry. Revolving line of sushi goes around and you select the sushi you want. Didn’t seem that they updated make new sushi when I was there so the selection got boring quickly. Good taste and quick service.

I ordered from Uber. It was a first here. I ordered a few rolls I know I like. They were so thick. In a good way. The rolls were huge for the price. If they stay consistent than they got a repeat customer.
