It was not too packed when my friend I arrived. Pretty small restaurant, 1 server, and a small kitchen. The Yelp menu is not the same as the restaurant menu btw (some items available on Yelp menu, not on the in-house menu). We were able to get a table right away. There was only one server on the floor. He was diligent and nice but took a long while to greet our table and was not very attentive during meals. Appetizers came before our hot teas. We ordered a miso soup and an avocado roll, and the Agedashi Tofu app. I Would NOT recommend the Agedashi Tofu! I arrived on a Monday evening and was pleased to be seated immediately, with no wait time. The soft shell crab appetizer caught my attention and it didn't disappoint. Cooked to perfection, it struck a great balance with its well-seasoned batter. The sushi rolls were also a hit. The Flaming roll and spicy tuna rolls were both delicious, showcasing the chef's skills and creativity. The Hamachi belly was notably fresh and added a wonderful dimension to the meal. Friendly staff. Food fresh tasty. I especially enjoyed the deep fried avocado roll. I would return to try other dishes.
