Akl Libanesisches Restaurant

Visited Aachen and while planning it we found this on tripadvisor. It's a small place although you can eat next door aswell (they bring it to you in the other place) and it was full when we arrived and still full when we left. They also do take-away where people were lining up aswell. But it's really worth it. We ordered the Maschawi Grill Teller and the Mesa Teller. Both dishes had more then enough food and both tasted great. There is nothing I can fault on their food.Only thing I can add is that service is a bit slow but it's understandable seeing the amount of people wanting to eat or have take-out. Because it's an open kitchen you can see they can't add more cooks in there.

bij de aankoms moesten wij even kijken waar we moesten zijn. we zagen bij egmont een bar mensen zitten met super lekker eten, maar?? we waren op zoek naar AKL. even navragen hoe het hier zit, blijkt dat je bij egmont lekker in de bar of op het terras kunt gaan ziten lekker iets te drinken pakt, en ernaast ligt AKL, waar je het eten kunt gaan bestellen. AKL brengt het eten dan aan je tefeltje bij egmont. we hebben heerlijk genoten van ons eten, onder het genot van een lekker drankje super leuke beding en livebandje

AKL ist eine Insitution in Aachen. Falafel und arabische Speisen sind die Spezialität und sorgen für lange Schlangen vor dem Restaurant.Der Laden selbst ist klein, es kann aber auch im Egmont nebenan verzehrt und bestellt werden. Ansonsten nimmt man das Essen direkt auf die Hand.Die Gerichte sind fast ausnahmslos sehr lecker und vor allem die Falafel sind über die Stadtgrenzen von Aachen bekannt.

Il locale è piccolo ma è convenzionato con il bar a fianco dove ci si può sedere e mangiare. Le porzioni sono abbondanti ed i prezzi relativamente bassi. Consiglio il piatto speciale (46.)

It's located down an alley way downtown easy to spot. They outside tables is a must sit. Must try the shish tawouk platter. Indeed it is Authentic and 100% Lebanese food.

The food tastes great and as the place is very small, you can also order and sit in the Eggmont local next to it, they will bring the food to you!

Nice place. Try the table at the right front corner. Intimate and perfect to drink your coffee!:) :)
