Alabama has always been a favourite haunt and is right in for my tastes of whiskey. I took a group of friends there the other night and was surprised at how impersonal, and unexcited the staff were. It just seemed like none of them wanted to be there. We bought a first round of drinks and sat on the stools at the bar. It makes sense that the stools were there to sit on but as soon as we sat there, we were ignored and it was next to impossible to get another round. We had to get up and move away and come back to finally get service.
