Alamo Springs General Store And Cafe

Best burger I've had in 38 years. Bacon strips hanging over the side, great bun, perfect medium. Everybody working here was friendly and explained the process as i walked up. Really cool place in a beautiful, quiet part of hill country. Just redeemed the best texas restaurant lists after the catastrophe called hilltop cafe.

I recently enjoyed a delicious cheeseburger with a fried egg and fries at this restaurant. The food and service were both excellent, and the atmosphere was great. The owner made sure to regularly check in on us during our meal. I also tried the onion rings and fried avocado on a previous visit and they were also fantastic.

Incredible service, everyone was so warm and welcoming. We even had the owner walk to our table to check in on us, which is a rarity! Otherwise, food was fantastic! Texas Monthly Best Burger for a reason! Highly recommend and will be coming despite living hours away. Definitely worth the trip!

This was the worst meal I have had at a restaurant in years. Four of us went, and the food was so terrible that we left it untouched and left hungry. This is the first negative food review I have ever written, but I feel that people need to be aware of how bad it was. Reserva una mesa ahora

I was fortunate enough to dine at this restaurant again during a recent visit to Fredericksburg. The burgers here are the best I've ever had. The staff is extremely friendly. I will definitely be returning whenever I am in the area.

Cool vibes and great food in the Hill Country! Wide selection of beers and good custom wines. Come for the food and stay for the bat show.
