Wonderful place if you are looking for a Central/Eastern European restaurant option in Grand Rapids. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and all of the workers were very friendly. We arrived around 9:00AM on Saturday and originally were going to get one of the breakfast options. However, once we saw the full menu and learned we could order from that as well, we decided to do that. We had the Shopska Salad, Sarma, and Geschnitzel. All of these were excellent. Additionally, the provided us with some bread/butter which was so delicious that we went next door to the small grocery store/bakery to purchase some to take home. I would highly recommend this hidden gem in the Grand Rapids area!
Al Bos is a very impressive hidden gem, not far from 28th Street. The delicious European cuisine what brought me to the location, but the Euromarket they have next door is what keeps me coming back. The staff is quite friendly and takes pride in there work. Overall this has to be my favorite restaurant to stop at while cruising down 28th. If you haven't visited this hidden gem yet, than you are mistakenly missing out.
The home-cooked authentic food here is absolutely delicious! I can't understand why anyone would choose a chain restaurant when there are such amazing meals being offered at great prices. This will definitely be a place we return to the next time we're in Grand Rapids!
The food was outstanding, and the service was top-notch. It’s among the best meals I’ve ever had. Every component of the platter had its own unique character, and you could really taste the freshness in both the platter and the crepes.

What a delightful hidden gem! A friend and I visited for breakfast and really enjoyed our experience. I can't wait to return for lunch or dinner to sample more items from their menu.
Stopped here while in town on business, and I'm glad I did. Wonderful meal that was full on comfort. I would eat here again without hestitation given the opportunity.

Delicious food in friendly ambiance. The natural schnitzel is my favorite with the roasted potatoes, djuvic rice and cabbage salad.
