we went to balance about a month ago and sat at the bar. it was at midday on a weekday and we were the only people in the facility we had to approx. 15 minutes waiting for the bartender. when Angela came into the bar, we found her very personally and helpful with menu recommendations. Overall, it was a nice experience and despite the rocky start we were looking forward to the return. we sat on a table this time. it took 35 minutes before we were even recognized. at this time we have put an order for drinks and appetizers. our appetizers finally came out and our drinks have not yet been made! We mentioned this to our waiter and he told us they had done it now. there were several other shatter...
We chose this restaurant to meet friends halfway from Hartford. It is a fantastic, high-quality establishment. We started with warm bread and roasted garlic. The atmosphere was great and there was a good variety of food to choose from. It may be a bit pricey, but it is definitely worth it! We opted for gluten-free pasta, chicken Milanese, and chicken Aldo’s. We also enjoyed a nice glass of wine, mashed potatoes, fresh vegetables, and a fresh salad. We were too full for dessert, but we did have decaf cappuccino and espresso. Our waiter, Mario, was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
Aldo's has the potential to be a top-notch restaurant, but they seem to fall short in execution. The service was slow and not very attentive. We ordered our appetizers and drinks with our entrees, but everything seemed disorganized. Despite the restaurant not being busy, our waitress was overwhelmed with all the tables and the rest of the staff didn't seem to help. Unfortunately, our dining experience suffered as a result.
We had a gift card for Aldo's, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the tomahawk steak, lobster ravioli, and chicken francaise. Our food was ready 30 minutes after ordering and when we got home, everything was still hot and fresh. The tomahawk steak was absolutely delicious! Overall, everything was excellent, but the standout was definitely the steak. It was worth writing this review just to recommend it.

her restaurant was visited last night for the first time, sat in the bar. a warm, welcoming atmosphere. the food was delicious! the service was amazing (kayle was great! very attentive, friendly and made us feel right at home) the entertainment, marty q, was fabulous! the night was so much fun! we look forward to a visit soon!
My wife and I went to Aldo’s, with friends, on Saturday evening, January 15th. We had a FANTASTIC dining experience. The service was outstanding as were our meals. I ordered the short ribs and they were cooked to perfection. If you haven’t been to Aldo’s you need to go. Great food!
The waitress was excellent. Great server and service.But the food has little to be desired for.Burnt sausage, burnt garlic the most horrible broccoli rabe and sausage I have ever seen or eaten. And that was second time around.The stuffed sole I give 2 stars. We will not be back!
Chopped salad with blackened chicken was outstanding.They did not offer the lunch menu on Sunday which I had hoped for, but the salad was great. Warm bread and garlic oil was a nice surprise.The bartender Christine was wonderful, friendly and professional.
