Alegrias Spanish Tapas

The service was awful. Sat at the table for 20 minutes before being offered even water. Was brought the wrong dishes, servers who brought the dishes didn’t even know what they were... requested small adjustments to items and was charged for the adjustments without being told that the changes would add cost. They tried to clear the plates 2-3 times while we were still eating. Bar closed at 9:30 (our reservation was 8:30) so no more drinks could be ordered 1/2 way through the meal..

The oyster appetiser and cold bread and almond soup was superb. This was followed by a delicious and refreshing mango and prawn salad. We were let down by the cod which was over confit and over salted to the point it was borderline inedible. The flan was average too eggy. Overall let down by the cod and dessert dish.

The service staff who looked after us was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambience was great and the food was lovely. It’s the first time we dine at this restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Extremely friendly team, fantastic food and great atmosphere. recommend Alegrias amazing restaurant for all occasions. Today we celebrated a special occasion in the family and it was 5 starts
