We decided to dine out on a whim and, unable to find a table elsewhere, ended up at this wonderful restaurant. It turned out to be a hidden gem! The service was outstanding—quick, attentive, and friendly. The house red wine was delightful, and the hand-tossed, wood-fired pizzas were absolutely divine. We found a true treasure and will definitely return the next time we're in Mold for another affordable and delicious Italian culinary experience.
I took my family to Alexander's one night after our dinner plans fell through. Despite only having enough dough for two pizzas, the owner and the chef welcomed us in anyway. We enjoyed two absolutely delicious wood-fired pizzas along with some tasty sides. We also got to meet the owner's family, which made the experience even more special. I can't wait to return soon, especially since it's only 15 minutes from our home!
Large breakfast was excellent and the latte was nice and big. Great that you could laverbread to your meal as well. Service could be a bit friendlier though. There were three people working, yet you still had to ring the bell on the counter for someone to come into sight. Initiating a chat with the customer would also be good. However, the coffee and food were prepared quickly, and fresh. Would recommend.
The large breakfast is wonderful I really enjoyed the black pudding pudding. Each time I have visited the breakfast has been cooked well and fresh. I don't like beans and I love being offered the option of beans or tomatoes on my breakfast. Coffee and tea not included but the breakfast does come with fresh orange juice which is a nice touch. Myself and my son ordered take out Pizza's last night. I'm a coeliac so have to be careful where I eat. Craig assured us that my pizza would be gluten free and it was 100% gluten free. It was literally one of the nicest pizzas I've ever had. Can't wait to call back again. Thanks so much.
