Alfresco Caffe - Reserva de mesa

For a taste of true Italian coffee, visit this coffee house, set in the centre of Southwell. Owned by an Italian family, this cafe produces a range of Italian coffees made and prepared with perfection. In addition to that are a range of cakes and snacks, plus breakfasts and lunches (including delicious home made Italian pizzas). Plenty of seating indoors plus extra outside to the rear of the cafe. overall a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Drinks and snacks are also available for take-away if requested. Can be very busy on Saturday mornings.

I had the Pizza and pot of tea for a quick lunch. The food was fresh and delicious and the service impeccable. It was lovely to see Maria who I've not seen for 8 years and she still remembered me. I was very moved by this. A lovely, hard working, good family serving you the best. Great value for money too. Kindest regards, Steve the Optician. X

A cafe with a continental buzz, (Italian owned I think), and full of local people having breakfast. Other cafes in the area don't open until 9.00 am. This opens at about 07.30, so if you are staying at the Crown, this is the one for you. No cereals (as far as I could see), but egg and bacon, bacon rolls etc, toast.

We just wanted something simple to eat and drink and came upon this place. The weather was glorious and we sat outside. We had ham sandwiches and a drink and and it was spot on. Grabbed a gluten free breakfast sandwich and cappuccino to take away. The gluten free bread was really good quality and the customer service was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Best coffee in Southwell! Nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Never have a problem getting the kids of their computers to come here lovely cakes, milkshakes, hot chocolate!

A lovely warm greeting from all the staff as we entered. Followed by a couple of delicious panini's. Wish we had room for some of the lovely looking cakes!
