What a lovely place this is .me and my sister took mother as a treat as she's been ill and wanted to surprise her with afternoon tea out and must say it was a surprise for all of us as it was beautiful the sandwiches are freshly made the staff are really attentive can't do enough for you cakes and scones went down a treat and what we didn't finish we were able to bring home . treated ourselves to the upgrade with sparkling wine non alcoholic I might add lol we will definitely be back well done to all the staff your doing a brilliant job xx
Went to Alfreton house Tea rooms on Saturday With my daughter Katie, had cheese platter. Must have had 5 different cheeses loads of different crackers sweet chilli chutney and Branson pickle. Absolutely divine, but what we were not expecting, also with it a fruit scone with Jam and clotted cream Delicious. Topped of with an absolutely gorgeous Cake shake Full to bursting not done my diet very good but will start again Monday. Staff very friendly and attentive despite being very busy. Will be back again soon.
I went today for a Mother's Day afternoon tea, and we are completely full—we had to take the cheesecake and scones home for later! The food was outstanding—fresh and entirely homemade. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Although the venue is small and cozy, we were very well taken care of. I can't believe how much food we received for just £7.50 each, which also included four pots of tea and a hot chocolate! I highly recommend this place, and we'll definitely be returning.
I visited today for an afternoon tea featuring cheese dishes, and I can't express how fantastic it was! Cheryl and her team catered our wedding reception, and we were very happy with everything. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and there was a great variety with plenty left over. It was fantastic value for money. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much!
