Great food whether you dine in or take away and always a friendly, warm welcome to be had. Our family favourite. Vegetarian options: Some options available. I went for the veg biryani and mixed veg platter for two. Parking: Big car park located just a minute away. Wheelchair accessibility: I can access with my small mobility scooter. Certainly accessable with a wheelchair. Have not used the washroom though. Service: Take out
I have had some good meals at this restaurant in the past, but my most recent order was very average. It seems like they may have changed cooks or something. I usually order the chicken masala, which used to be thick but now is watery. The bhajis were nearly inedible, as they were hard and seemed old. The spicy popadoms were burnt and unpleasant. The quality seems to vary, so it's a bit of a gamble on what you will get.
We absolutely love Ali's. By far the best food around. We regularly get take aways and occasionally dinner in. The service is top notch and the lamb vindaloo is my favourite. Food and staff are fantastic. Very knowledgable. Portions are large- beware!!! Great atmosphere, quiet but not dead. Never waiting ages for food to come. Best Indian for a very long way. Initially I had a poor review that was 2 years old, but I haven't had a bad meal here for ages now I can only assume Ali is cooking and it's really nice so I've changed my review to reflect this Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30
