I've been visiting this donut shop for years because they offer the largest and freshest tasting donuts around. Every time I go, I make sure to order at least a dozen so I can enjoy them over several days. The donuts are incredibly soft and fluffy, especially if you get them early in the morning. You can really taste the difference in quality throughout the day. They have a great variety of donuts, muffins, and other pastries as well. The next day, I had a manicure appointment and returned to the shop. Jenna had everything beautifully displayed, and the store was spotless. The pastries and donuts looked absolutely mouth-watering! I couldn’t resist picking up more donuts for a midnight snack after my manicure.

Many years ago, after visiting Bart from Richmond, I would get off at El Cerrito PlZ station and go to AllStarts Donuts and sit 30min to have a cup of coffee and donuts. I would sit there and study almost every day. It was the only store opened at 6:00. The owners are always friendly and have great customer service. And of course the donuts are always fresh. Now I can say it's just 5 minutes walk from my apartment.
The best old school donut shop in the bay area. Consistently, great taste and selection across the menu. Come here if you’re interested in getting some of the best traditional donuts, not super fancy or gluten-free or anything like that. Just a great donut overall. Traditional glazed is hard to be beat. Especially if you come early in the morning when they are still fresh out of the oven.

I'm floored that these had the best donut holes I've ever had. Pillowy, light, fluffy, slightly doughy, sweet, huge my girls and I devoured 12 (for $3.75). Cash only. I go to the UPS store next door a lot so this might be a new weakness.

Thai tea is legit actually strong real tea! What I needed today. Friendly people too. In any case, you will check the rest of the menu. Bring cash, the card is expensive.

I ordered a few dozen for a party and I got rave reviews. I ate two myself and they were phenomenal. Well worth coming to El Cerrito Plaza.
