Allegria Carbondale

Wow! This was one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had in a long time! We arrived at Alegria late after driving up from Denver and delayed for hours on I 70. Our AirBnB hosts recommended Allegria and the food, atmosphere, and service were all perfect. I had the sole gougonettes, which was a generous serving and amazingly fresh perfectly prepared. As I’m a seeker of gourmet food, I was so relieved to find prices in Carbondale that were affordable (after reading about 20 menus for Aspen online and realizing they are all priced for the 1%. This restaurant is in Carbondale’s sweet downtown area and such a wonderful find!

We have gone to Allegra in Carbondale, Co since we moved here in 2015. Always was excellent. We know there is now new ownership. We Really enjoyed all the new choices on the menu. My Sole filet was excellent. The really big thing we missed was the fabulous bread Allegra always had. The breadsticks that are being served now were pretty boring. Everything else was great! Please work on the bread. Thanks.

Overall a very solid place. Service was excellent!!! Food was good not the best I've ever had not the worst either. A little bit noisy, but that's to be expected since it's a one room setting. It honestly didn't bother us. Drinks were great. I'd say try it. Reserva una mesa ahora

Server was ill-trained, forgot to put our order in, was disrespectful when we approached her and she attempted to make it our problem for not understanding. It took almost 45 minutes to get our entrees. Mine was grossly over-spiced and I could not eat it.

What a lovely experience we had! The service and food was terrific. We went with another couple and one friend said the sauce on her Chicken Parm tasted just like her Italian mother's sauce...That's a high complement. We all would recommend this place.
