Nice cozy atmosphere with indoor and heated outdoor dining. Excellent service! The staff is attentive and well trained. Wine list is broad, ask for suggestions. Great food serviced in hearty portions so you can share a bite, or two. Creative menu, with good options for appetizers, soups salads and entrees. Bread is fresh and baked perfectly for absorbing the delicious sauces. Don't skip the classic Italian desserts and coffees.

We thoroughly enjoyed dining here 3 days in row. Starry with a lovely bottle of wine. We absolutely love Brancaia from Italy. Dinner: Tried the Pasta, Salmon, Lamb Shank and Filet Mignon. By far the Filet was to die for!! Tender, cooked to perfection as requested and the gorgonzola sauce was to die for! The gnocchi was a light perfect touch. I didn't need an appetizer as this was plenty. The finale was Spumoni. Perfect.

So much to love about this restaurant: 1. The hotel is located in a renovated Victorian home, romantic and warm 2. Great service: family property and attention to customers 3. Delicious homemade pasta and wonderful wine selection. I'm a big fan of lobster and linguin. Big portions.

The tri tip here is the BEST my husband and I have EVER had! The cannelloni di pollo is ALWAYS delicious! The cheesecake is Italian style and soooo gooood! We have come here from Sacramento for the past 5 years! Love this place! BEST HOLE IN THE WALL IN GRASS VALLEY!!!

One day before Valentine's Day here. Very nice location in an old home. Service is professional and extremely fast. All foods are amazing and fresh, including pasta. Have many vegetarian options. Very recommended!
