This would have been a 5 Star review, if it wasn’t for our extremely rude Karen of a hostess on a power trip! Food, atmosphere, manager and server were all wonderful. I don’t say this lightly, the hostess that seated us should be fired! We had early dinner reservations for patio seating (4:15, to be exact). We arrived about ten minutes early and it was before things got busy. In fact, the restaurant was just turning over from its lunch menu to its dinner menu. We traveled to New England for a special trip involving three generations to visit the birthplace of my mother. As big fans of the Wahlbergs, Wahlburgers, and the TV series, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to dine at Alma Nove. The food was outstanding, and the staff were gracious, efficient, and very attentive. We arrived early for our reservation, and they seated us right away. If we find ourselves in New England again, we would definitely make this journey once more. What a fantastic place! The atmosphere was so welcoming, the staff was incredibly attentive, and the food was absolutely amazing! We flew in from Texas to celebrate my wife's birthday, so I made a reservation a week in advance to ensure we had a table for her special night. When I made the reservation, the person on the phone asked if there was a special occasion, and I mentioned it was my wife's birthday. Without needing to remind anyone when we arrived, the hostess greeted my wife with a happy birthday wish, and later, the waitress brought her dessert with a lit candle. This restaurant truly made our trip worthwhile!

Charming restaurant located in the shipyard with an Italian twist. The atmosphere is quite impressive, and there's a lovely little bar. The hostess was delightful and quickly found us a spot to sit. The cocktails were delicious. Unfortunately, my pasta dish arrived cold and undercooked, so I ended up dining alone. While some patrons at the bar were informed about the specials, others were not. Overall, the reviews of this cute restaurant are mixed, and I likely won't be returning. If something goes wrong, it's important to make amends with your guests.

Absolutely sensational! The food was fantastic, but our server, Katherine (I hope I spelled that right), was undoubtedly the best I've ever had! I celebrated my 50th birthday there, and she treated me like royalty! (It might have been the tiara I wore!) If you have the opportunity, this place is definitely worth a visit! It was the best experience from start to finish. Many thanks for making my day so special!

Service was excellent. Pasta was disappointing, a mediocre presentation, overboiled and floppy with a pretty boring taste. It just didn’t taste freshly cooked or thoughtful. However, the buttermilk chicken breast was beautiful on the plate and perfectly cooked, with a super delicious gravy.
