What a gem in Condado! The owner Chris has balanced an incredible menu with a wonderful ambiance. Let’s start with the emotional response as you enter what is in effect an art gallery! The abstract paintings from Noel Ruiz are stunning. The personally owned piece that we ate aside from kept the conversation brisk and the imagination wandering. The Tabla was a spread of incredible cheeses, with the truffle cheese our favorite. The nutty earthy aromas jumped off the cheese onto your palate. We ended up at Almaviva when our rooftop reservation at another popular local spot was cancelled due to rain. It was really quiet for a Saturday night but we enjoyed that SO much as we are traveling with our two little ones and really enjoyed the calm atmosphere. It 's very modern and pretty inside, looked like there was a special cigar/wine tasting room that you may be able to arrange which is so cool. We had the Tabla appetizer of cheeses and meats and that was delicious. My husband ordered a scallop fish and I had the filet mignon and they were both perfection. Our server was outstanding. Prices were high but food was very good. I felt it strange that I had to go into wine room to pick wine as there was not a list??????? Last time this happened the place was closing and just not reordering wine. We also were the only people there but.... it was only 6pm

Drinks were great. Availability of Menu was limited (3 out of 4 sea food plates not available). Available options were considered and were great. Server was good, but in occasions we had to hunt him down for service. Environment wag great for a team meeting.

Loved the idea of this being a great dinner but was just ok. Service was top notch. Wanted to enjoy the food more but was just ok.
