Almer Bauernkasten

A perfect example of what makes "Trip Advisor" a great success. Have visited Maria Alm many times, but would never have found this little gem of a restaurant if it had not been listed #1. Extensive menu, fantastic food and reasonable prices. I was there in the quiet season so did not experience the overcrowding and long waits that other reviewers have reported, but can well imagine this can be a problem during popular holiday times. Will certainly be back with the family.

Had a lovely meal here . My favourite garlic soup on the menu . Rest of the dishes very rustic and delicious . Not too expensive either . Enjoyed my prosecco with aperol . Good friendly service

Read about this restaurant on Trip Advisor and just finished dinner! Warm and cozy inside. Great food at great prices. We will be back before our week is over.

We had a great experience at Almer Baurnkasten! Wonderful food, atmosphere and service. The trout was delicious and the homemade schnaps was wonderful.

We had the deer stew and the cheese dumplings with pork medallions - all superb! Missing it already!
