I have stayed in many Beachwood hotels over the last 20 years, so I thought I would try one that I had never stayed in before. On the website it looked beautiful and contemporary. While the room was stylish and nice, management and service was below average. The staff was nice but unprepared. No cups for morning coffee. None. Key wasn’t ready when checking in. Housekeeping did not clean room, even though we purposely made sure the “do not disturb” was NOT on the door when we left early in the day. No excuse to come back to a room which had not been attended to. I will not stay here again.
From the start everything was AMAZING!! It was Sweetest Day and I originally had a reservation at another property that I thought I cancelled, however I did not and although Andrew could’ve kept it to himself, it turned out the other hotel overbooked and called the Aloft and said they’ll pay for my room. Andrew went above and beyond and gave us one of the BEST Sweetest Day gift ever. We will definitely be back. The hotel was clean, the staff were all friendly and helpful. If you’re ever in the Beachwood area I highly recommend staying at the Aloft as everything you need is right there!
I did not stay at the Aloft Hotel, but I dropped off my friend there for a hospital visit, so I did not go inside. The next morning, when I picked her up, she mentioned that the place was dirty. She explained that while lying in bed, she noticed a yellow spot on the sheets/pillowcase. After informing the nurse, the beds were changed, revealing a brown/black spot on the mattress pad. I am unsure who is responsible for cleaning the rooms and changing the beds, but regardless, it reflects poorly on both Aloft and the hospital.
I was disappointed with the accommodations at this restaurant. I frequently stay at various Marriott properties for business trips, and this room fell in the lower tier for me. While the location is convenient to the autobahn, there are many other Marriott properties in the area as well. The room felt cheaply constructed, was not clean, and did not have a microwave. Don’t come here!!! There was no trash cans in the room. The decorations were cheap looking and no telephone. The sinks didn’t give enough room to wash your hands. The pool room card sensor hardly works. The alarm clocks look like they are from the 1900s. They were stains on the ceiling easily the worst experience at a hotel. The decorations at the front look all high class but the room quality is atrocious.
Super friendly staff, great room with a very comfy bed and amenities. Location is convenient for traveling to downtown Cleveland and there are lots of great restaurants in the area. They even have a laundry room to help keep on top of things, which was great as we stayed for about a week. And the fresh baked cookies and dipped oreos were a special and unexpected treat.
The restaurant has excellent amenities and convenience. My family and I went on a casual weekend getaway to visit friends. The room was modern, clean, and spacious enough for the three of us. The lobby was also inviting and offered enjoyable activities for children. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and would definitely return.
