I ordered the marinated shrimp volcano style, which was tasty. However, I unfortunately experienced severe diarrhea within two hours. I hadn’t eaten anything else that day and had to use the restroom five times before the evening. While the food quality seemed good, there may be a concern with food hygiene. I recommend management look into this for the safety of their customers.
Poke bowls can be fantastic when prepared properly. We visited during dinner and noticed that there were only two other diners present. I believe the experience could be much better than what we had, so I'm hesitant to make any negative comments. I plan to give it another try this summer. The location is nice, though! I used to really like this restaurant, but lately, it's been inconsistent with the ingredients. My most recent visit was the final straw; they were out of white rice, and my bowl was mostly filled with scallions, with very few other ingredients. It was quite disappointing, and I will be searching for a new poke spot.
This restaurant has become a regular spot for us. I always enjoy a straightforward, healthy, and delicious meal, and everything is highly customizable. I believe it's important to either properly fill the bowls again (especially since I paid almost $20 for a single fast-food entrée) or consider lowering the prices. Another option could be to use smaller bowls that correspond better to the amount of food provided, so customers don't feel shortchanged.
I've never had an issue with my takeout orders; they always have my food ready on time. The portion sizes are excellent for the price! I'm also pleased that they no longer limit the number of sauce types we can get on the side with one order.
I usually visit this restaurant frequently, but I'm not sure what went wrong during my last trip. I received rice that was a day old, and it was tough to chew. Overall, I would rate the food as 1, the service as 4, and the atmosphere as 4.
