What a lovely spot to stop on the TMB hike. This place was one of a very few that delivered the authenticity and beauty that I imagined before we started our TMB trek. The modern world so often disappoints, but this place was like stepping into a dream... it impossibly bucolic, quaint, authentic, genuine, and yet it never becomes a pastiche. The family running it is friendly and genuinely seem to love what they are doing. The two boys running the service were accommodating and enthusiastic in their service... the foods were tasty and made like your grandmother might have done 80 years ago... all in all, just a fantastic experience. This stop was the highlight of my day. I wish them all the b...

We stopped here on the last day of our Tour du Mont Blanc hike from Trient to Champex Lac. It was a great stop for liquid refreshments (orange and apricot juice), to eat our lunch, use the WC and fill up with fresh water. Take a look inside before you leave to marvel at the compact and organized kitchen and few sleeping spaces overhead a masterpiece of dairy barn conversion. The only thing missing were a stack of job applications!

A magnificent setting, we will enjoy stopping to eat and drink in this setting, among the cattle of the alpine pastures and the mountains. Downside on the prices of drinks and dishes, slightly too high.... 8€ per beer is excessive. Otherwise, the setting is worth the detour even for those who wish to stop without consuming, which remains a significant advantage. To have

A place on the TMB route with a very nice view. We ordered one coffee it was bad a teaspoon of instant coffee with water and milk, and a peach cake, which was dry and only had fruit flavor. Prices are quite high for average quality. We paid 10.5 Swiss francs for coffee and cake. The service was nice. Reserva una mesa ahora

They display a giant Christian cross on the wall, and for the hiker who carries the tent, sleeping bag and much of the food, because it costs a lot of money to come to this wonderful place in the world, they don't let you sit next to The bathrooms, in old wood, are unsupportive to say the least.

Lovely stop off on route to Trient (From Champex-Lac) with wonderful views overlooking the valley. Food was superb, enjoyed a rosti which was perhaps not the best food for hiking (sat a little heavy for me) but absolutely delicious and would have loved to have again!

Stunning views, friendly staff and really great food. Couple this with well kept facilities and wonderful character inside and out made this stop the morale booster anyone would appreciate along the TMB trail. Memorable for sure!

After a heavy climb up from Champex, Bovine was a sight for sore eyes. We enjoyed our lunch here. The omelette and Potato rosti were both delicious, though the bread was a bit stale. The views from the patio were excellent. Reserva una mesa ahora

Peach tart incredible; lots of cows with bells and these are the famous fighting cows ! Great stop after a long hike up a very steep hill. The view is incredible and worth the hike!
