.so the first impression was when we arrived there on Friday 22.08.2014 and even worse it went on.We were a group of 22 people who arrived on the same day different.When you get in, you don't see a reception area, the owners came tired and energized to us. did not welcome us and the like and key did not exist as our group leader had probably. we were only booked with breakfast but hungry and asked the daughter of the chefin whether we could spontaneously stay with them for dinner. then she yelled at us what this is for a deity, they are not equipped for 22 people to make an evening meal, if then only a court what it then determines for all. staying at the hotel next to (lärchenhof,) we were able to dine four adults on the terrace with views of the mountains, superb. the restaurant has a map in French, the service is smiling and full of advice. prices are correct, to the extent that the plates are generous, well done. I confirm that beer is very good and unaltering! a note the map on the banana split, at 5.80 € . a long time ago I had not seen it at that price on a French card. and no trap ;-). the blue cord is impressive, made in the rules of art, with a thin and crispy panure. A treat.
I begin the review by specifying that we were at this property only for a dinner, we did not stay there. A night to forget: Little kind owners got angry to have asked to remove a curry sauce from the kid's burger, I would like to point out that the sauce was not reported on the children's menu, otherwise I would have said it immediately .we were apostrophes by father mother and also son, for a moment I even feared for our incolumity. Fortunately, we managed to maintain a certain self-control as our two children were 2 and 5 years old. Never again!
The town of Gries doesn't have a lot to offer, infact it offers nothing! The hotel is a traditional Austrian building made of timber etc, first impressions you think, ok! The reality it's an extremely cold place, the heating works but isn't very efficient in the winter months. The food was awful but what I will say I'd the rooms were clean and surprisingly the bed was comfy. There's a hotel restaurant virtually next door you can eat there. I won't be going back. A nice rustic hotel. Arrived late at night, to find the hotel locked. The barking of the dog woke up the land lady. We were allowed in. The room is a bit dated but the feeling staying there was okay. It was just like going to your grand parents when you were a kid. We had the breakfast buffet which was lovely. The view of the mountain is just sublime.
It feels like coming home in creepy. Always nice to come back. The rooms are clean and the food is very variable and rich. That goes both for breakfast and dinner. individual wishes are always possible. There's a good and informal atmosphere, where humor and cozy are part of it. The hotel is a good t.O.V. The airport innsbruck and the ski area kuhtai.
A fine hotel with clean rooms. No luxury, but the mood is compensating this bold shot. Fine price-quality relationship! Dinner was very good! We've had a really nice ski break. Owners are trying very hard to make it a good time. We're thinking about going back next year, so...
