the historic elliptical railway in Malans in the flush manor is a cable car operated in summer. recently this cable car brought us to the älpli, 15 minutes with a length of 3.5 km. from above to the Rhine Valley there is a great view. we first made a hike in the mountains before we went back to the restaurant. as there are only 8 seats in two cabins, an early reservation is recommended. we will do it again when we are in this region.
the elliptical railway itself is a small but very fine and well maintained cable car with 2 cabins. aim of the cable car is a small hut with a restaurant which has a great terrace with a view of greybilges. the kitchen corresponds to the classic kitchen that you know from huts in the mountains.Important: without reservation of the alpine malans nothing goes. the path is the needle tube.
