Well, look no further—this place is it, right in the heart of Midtown! The prices may not be bodega-level, but they aren't the steep prices usually found in Manhattan cafes either. For just $9, you can enjoy a sandwich along with some fries. I decided to try the chop cheese (which isn’t listed on the menu), and they delivered it swiftly! I’ll certainly be returning!
This was for our team! It was hot and delicious and a ton of food Eggs, home fries, toast, French toast, pancakes, bacon and sausage oh my! Plus all the extras you need that most places forget Oh and the pricing was on point! Maria who took my order is always great(this is my 2nd time ordering with them)! And the deliver team they have are SUPER nice! Including their managers that made sure my orders were to my liking! Everything came on time
Ruben's was far from impressive. The corned beef tasted like basic, bland lunch meat—nothing special at all. The service was subpar; the staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves and with their friends than attending to customers. The cashier had a rather snarky attitude. It's clear they've lost sight of the high standards Al's had back in 1976. I will NEVER return, and I wouldn’t recommend that you go either!
The line should have stretched out the door! The service is fast, the food is hot, fresh, and packed with flavor, all at reasonable prices. The iced coffee was just right. We tried a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant along with a strawberry kiwi parfait, and both were spot on. The menu offered a fantastic variety with plenty of customization options.

Tried to grab a bagel around the corner at two places and the lines were soooo long and at least one was $7.95 for a bagel and cream cheese. Skip that! Go around the corner here to Al's where I got one under $4 and it was delicious. Didn't love my espresso, but whatever. Nothing fancy here but yummy and the price was right.
I recently ordered an egg white sandwich that was listed at $6.25, but I was charged $8. When I asked about the price difference, the staff member yelled at me, explaining that there’s an extra dollar charge after 11 AM. On top of that, the sandwich was quite bland. I really don’t appreciate being yelled at.
Warm good bagels. Service was amazing. Staff friendly. Makes it seem like a regular place to go to. Quick and fast. Surprisingly the food prices were cheaper than expected in this big city. Will come again.
We ordered the Chicken Parmesan panini and the California roll combo, and both were absolutely delicious. It's a fantastic spot for a reliable lunch option in Midtown! Thank you!
