First, get a reservation! The restaurant was packed both times we stopped by to eat (both week nights). On the first visit there was a bit of space available in the basement which has a charm of its own (barrel vaulted ceilings, copper piping from...the beer tanks upstairs, and a very unique men's bathroom...where else can you pee into a beer keg Later in the evening the basement area is closed and guests are re-positioned in the upstairs dining rooms. On our visit there was absolutely no space available but the beer garden was empty and with one of the propane heaters was a great spot for dinner and beer. (Sadly, the first person we encountered when entering the main dining area for seating...
I've gone to the Old-Oberursel brewhouse before and always wanted to bite a bit for the beer and two years ago it's become true! there are on the map 2-3 solid vegan dishes and also some salads can be veganized. easy to ask, the personal is well trained. one should only know that practically everyone eats a meat (also typical brewhouse kitchens. I'll still like to go.
very beautiful, typical German restaurant in the upper city with a large beer garden and beautiful furnishings. when I was there. 7 vegetarian dishes of which 2 were vegan. the service is very friendly and helpful to ask! but the brewhouse is quite high. updated by previous review on 2021-05-27
This place is simply awesome. The food is always great. The atmosphere is always great. Been coming here since 17 years. Never disappointed. The Haxe, Nürnberger sausages, Bratkartoffel, etc are all amazing. And the deserts are also unworldly. Highly recommended.

Amazing setting. A building constricted in the century yet quite current as it is well visited. A great place to sample a good home brewed traditional beer. Just amazing. The food what you would expect and prices are adequate. Lovely place. Will come again.

Really good beer (use the beer sampler to decide which one you want to try more of), friendly staff and the juiciest chicken I have had in years. Well worth going out of the way to visit.
it is in the center of the city with quite large and beautiful farm for eating and drinks. own brewery. service was good, too good that they would push a little.

Family friendly there’s a great sand box in the corner of the beer garden. Great beer and great German food. A must do in Oberursel!
