Fantastic small dive. Good pizza available in-house as well (more pizza and tacos also within walking distance). They show all the important events (Women's World Cup, Eurovision, etc). Standard mix of IPAs and Lagera/Pilsners on tap with a selection of English ales and the occasional porter or stout. Always a cider available. Couldn't ask for more for a low-key friendly neighborhood Spider-Bar.
Enjoy my time in this place, Gale tends to be at the bar when I go in, and she is very friendly. Big beer selection and they always have a kind of hard apple wine. The pizzas smell good. Oh and every time I go to the other people in the bar, are receptive to chat, super fun. Parking is free front. I haven't had the wine yet, but wine is wine, right? I don't want to annoy wine lovers.
A great relaxing spot for our Altadena community. My wife and I usually come on evenings for the special variety of ales and ciders that the proprietor, Gale, comes up with and conversation with random people at the bar. We also love the place as a regular evening gathering spot for our group of seniors and retirees.

Best pizza ever!!!! Gale asked me and my comrades if we were atheists before she would agree to serve us some beers. We all said we were atheists or agnostic so we could keep partying like the god fearing men that we are. #BlessedAF
I frequent this restaurant often because I work nearby. I have to say that their customer service is consistently excellent and they always keep the place clean. The prices are reasonable and they serve generous portions.
This neighborhood bar is a great spot to hang out. They serve pizza for those looking for a bite to eat, and it's quite good. The selection of beers is wide, and they only offer French wines.
