This restaurant is excellent ! The food was amazing the scallops and the NY Strip! So good and I know this will sound crazy but the Wedge Salad was the best I have ever ever ever had! The entire dinner was superb!!! The service was really great casual and nicely paced! I like a restaurant where they leave you alone and not check in you every two minutes! It was just enough and easy to get the attention you need. This is a perfect neighborhood restaurant; however it really is a restaurant that should attract customers from all over the San Gabriel Valley, Glendale. It’s would be trek from LA BUT worth the drive !
Fantastic meal at one of our favorite go-to local Pasadena/Altadena restaurants. We haven’t visited as frequently the last couple of years due to the Pandemic; so nice to see that this restaurant continues to stand strong in tested times. The food, service and ambiance were all superb as always! We will be back soon!
Another excellent evening at AltaEats. Very fortunate to have this quiet gem in Altadena. Chicken, scallops and halibut ordered for 3 of us. Each one perfection. Came at 6. Quiet. By the time we left at 7:45 nearly full. Fine service. Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to our return!
Amazing restaurant! Be careful there is no signage outside but inside…. All signs point to great food, great service and a place where you can actually talk across a table. I could eat everything on this menu!!! So delicious! I will be back!

It was our wedding anniversary. I didn’t like that the server, not the young one, but the heavyset older man, reached across in front of the person sitting next to me , to put my plate down. He should have come around to where I was sitting.
The rack of lamb was great. Halibut fish was fresh, but the spinach mushroom that came with fish was way too salty from too much soy sauce. French fries bread really good. Service was excellent
First time here. Great food and service! They need a valet service though and also put the name of the restaurant outside.
New Year’s Eve dinner was delicious as always at Alta Eats. The food was superb. The ambiance lovely. The staff amazing.
