Alte Wache - Reserva de mesa

We ate here on a Sunday during the DrachenFest (kite festival), and it seemed a little busy for after 1pm. We sat on their large patio, with lots of natural shade from trees and some large umbrellas. The waitress came and offered us menus and took drink orders promptly. Their menu has a moderate selection of local, traditional cuisine, and is priced a little on the high side, although the portions were fairly generous, and came very nicely presented. The only real negative would be that the food took quite a while to arrive and when it did, the waitresses forgot one of the meals in the kitchen and we had to ask for them to go and get it. Otherwise an enjoyable place for some food and drinks.

A bit out of town (Ostfildern), this restaurant is readily accessible by car and well worth finding. Our party enjoyed the salmon salad, the schnitzel and the noodles washed down with several liters of refreshing hefeweizen as we whiled away a lovely spring afternoon under the umbrella of their large beer garden. When the weather got a bit messy, we moved inside and finished our meal there. The staff were friendly, they offered English menus and whole setting was quite lovely - indoor and outdoor. Again, not your typical restaurant setting but well worth visiting if you are driving in the area.

They were in the old guard yesterday. The service was great, the whole staff was very friendly despite obvious reduction and full terrace. Even for a large group of people who are not allowed in the current time with Corona. Were tables and chairs reorganized that you could sit together halfway. Unfortunately, the price performance ratio for the dishes is not so true, I had a cake that was also really delicious, but unfortunately very narrow for the price. Too bad you can't tell for what the stars are, I would give 5 stars only to the service.

Had a spontaneous private dinner with my family here. The ambience is very good and extremely family friendly. The menu has something for everybody and is not the typical swabian standard. Must say it is inspiring to read through. Quality of food and drinks was excellent and service very attentive. Value for money is fair and not to complain about.Wisöl for sure vome back in the summer when the hughe terrasse is opened and they do their famous BBQ brunch. Reserva una mesa ahora

We were there on a monday evening and were very satisfied with our restaurant-choice. The Service was good - and also the dishes. We also enjoyed very much the elderflower-lemonade!

The food was superb and the service perfect. Top rating. Go there! We had appetizers, main course, drinks and dessert for about 40 EUR per person. Great evening. Thank you! ????

It was a very nice and private ambient. We had a business meeting and a great time on dinner. I had a nice salad with wild animal sausage salad and a duck with potatoes dish.
