Made reservations for breakfast. There was a group that came in just before us and lied. They said they were there for reserved seating under our name. The manager/owner apologized (even though it was not their fault at all, as we heard the people lie to him) and was able to get us seated within 15min. The food was a good mom/pop breakfast. One person in our group had the stuffed french toast and absolutely loved it! The eggs benedict eggs were way overcooked, almost hard boiled. However, the over medium eggs were done perfectly. This is truly my favorite spot in the Altoona-Eau Claire area. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive, and the fresh-squeezed orange juice is fantastic. I especially want to give a shout-out to a young lady named Casey, who went above and beyond to help me. I even drive an hour just to eat here! The portion sizes are generous without being excessive, and the prices are quite reasonable for the area. The soup is excellent, too. They even provide a coffee thermos, which is a nice touch for me, and the coffee itself is not bad either. Overall, I give gold stars to the kitchen staff and the waiters and waitresses!

Vegetarian options: Had veggie scramble. Spiced just right. Had corned beef hash, one thing is if you get hash browns ask for extra crispy Everything was great and service was wonderful despite being short handed. Excellent food and service. Came here for the second time while passing through on a trip. We are thoroughly impressed. Very fluffy omelets, delicious bacon, light, fluffy pancakes and some of the best hash browns we've had. They are very family friendly as well! Hard to find a good place for breakfast. This had excellent breakfast good quality and still believe in good old fashioned customer service. Come to try this place on vacation from CA. Ordered the 3 piece cod fish had one bite of the fish second bite there was a hair or something in the tartor sauce. Now I am grossed out and hungry.
