1st timer, long drive for a pie, but promised it was totally worth it from a friend. Got the classic ½ cheese ½ 'roni, always the best way to judge a new pizza joint in my opinion. And Cheeses Christmas! That 's a real pizza. I mean REAL. Old school, authentic, stone fired, 100 years ago awesome. My dummy friend completely under sold it. Home run on the trinity; it would be hard to choose a better crust, sauce, or cheese, individually or as a trio, with a great flavors from the garlic and the oven or stone on top. This is my third time ordering they price there stuff very high when it’s delivery. Got pizza and calzone and a drink. They came 1.5 hrs later and said they had no drinks tonight. They still charged me 3.50 for delivery even though I live 1 mile away. They charged me 49.95 seriously!! No receipt so I have no clue how much each item cost. They handed me 2.00 back because they had no drinks tonight. The food was not that bad. I definitely won’t order anymore to tell someone with hungry kids 45 mins and come 1.5 hrs later is just uncalled for. I still tipped the lady she was very nice and felt bad she was late.
So I ordered a steak bomb quesadilla and was not informed that a side of mayo and a side of hots would turn this quesadilla into 18 dollars! So i called and politely explained that i have been loyal to them since their shop was in rockland. All I wanted was a refund because that was the last 20$ i had to my name. He then proceeded to scream at me and talk over me on the phone and let me know that I could only have 8$ back and give him the food back. I was told that it cost him 18$ of steak to make this quesadilla and it is only four slices. I am very upset about Amante Pizza and their poor management.
OUTSTANDING PIZZA!!! I ordered the 12-inch Amante pizza and it was AMAZING! It had chicken, spinach, fresh tomatoes, and feta cheese, and the 12-inch size was just right for two adults. We believe it’s definitely worth the drive from anywhere! It was ready surprisingly quickly, even though we called just under 30 minutes before closing time! I give it 5 stars all around! Thank you, Amante Italian Pizzeria, for a wonderful dinner!

This place was not as good as I had hoped. There wasn't much sauce. I ordered a large meat lovers pizza, and the flavor wasn't anything special. I ordered close to their closing time, so maybe that had an effect on the quality of the pie I got. I don't know. They were super friendly, the crust was good, and the service was speedy. It just wasn't a great pizza.
The pizza did the trick, but left more to be desired. I wasn’t a huge fan of their white pizza because it was mostly bread. I might try the place again to make sure and will update my review later on if necessary. The crust is a little bit tougher than I desire.
We just moved to the area and we’re looking for a staple take out place. We have two young children who like chicken fingers, pizza etc. We ordered food from there today and it was delish! Will be ordering again soon!
The food is delicious the delivery is great l recommend this restaurant to all my friends and clients. Keep up the good work!????
