Harrah 's Lake Tahoe used to be our go to place for gambling and a weekend getaway. This was the first time back in 4 years since COVID. Booking the room was impersonal in that you have to deal with centralized Caesar employees who are unfamiliar with the facility. When we called for help with our TV because the remote was not working, we were routed to centralized Caesar employee located somewhere in the United States but not Harrah 's Lake Tahoe. We used to know some of the employees and dealers there which is the reason we used to return so frequently. Just not the same place. Rooms look like they have not been kept up and felt unclean. We were informed there would be no daily maid servic...

I am home from my journey to Lake Tahoe with the four day stay at Harrahs. I have to agree with previous posts on the hotel needing some updates and repairs. My room was on the sixth floor. When waiting for the elevator, my eye always caught that one of the wall mirrors was broken. I whispered to do not look at it for bad luck. The hotel is in the site of all the other hotels/casinos making for a easy walk. Go down towards the end of the street and your in California. Another two to three more short blocks for additional restaurants and all the souvenirs and t-shirt shops you need. I ate at a number of places with no issues at any of them. I have to give a compliment to Linda at the cincierg...
For the price I was a bit disappointed. The doors leading from the main hall to the rooms need to be scrubbed or painted as they have black marks all over them, probably from luggage carts. It gives the place a shabby look. Our room had a phone charging setup, and the bedside tables had extra electrical outlets and USB ports. Very nice. The 2 separate bathrooms were a nice feature as we didn't have to fight over counter space. A couch cushion was flipped and backward, I started to fix it and saw that it was nasty. The bed was too soft (personal preference, I know). They charge additional for parking, which is a giant turnoff for us.
$25 parking fee for 1.5 hours of gambling in a mediocre casino? That's highway robbery! Apparently it's free up to an hour, but still, total waste of money. My dad has lost probably $40k to $50k here over the past few decades when we visit Tahoe each summer. Now, I dislike this casino even more.I like their live music on Saturday nights, and the Starbucks inside their lobby is a nice touch. I do like their electronic roulette for my 83 year-old father. But I'm definitely not coming back here to gamble due to their outrageous parking fee in a dimly lit, uncovered parking lot. Reserva una mesa ahora
After four hours, we were finally checked into a room on the 11th floor, only to be informed that it was now blocked and we were assigned to a different one. The next morning at 7:30, we found that the parking lot below us was being prepared for repaving, creating a noisy distraction. We attempted to order room service, but there was none available, and housekeeping only provided service at checkout. We were never informed about the lack of services for which we were still being charged. We are beyond disappointed and will not be returning.
Was so excited to take my friends here because this is where I got married 30 years ago !This used to be one of the most elegant casinos! Now it's so run down, wallpaper peeling off the walls, carpets are filthy, walls dripping with tar from the smoking in the casino, and $25 to pay for parking. We were there no more than 15 or 20 minutes and we still had to pay for parking! The most disappointing casino I've been in in years only second to Cal Neva! Harvey's and Harrah's were spectacular in their Prime, but don't bother going now.
I stayed here for a conference last week and have visited this hotel several times over the years. However, this year, the quality of the rooms and the cleaning wasn’t up to standard. The room did not seem clean, there were no washcloths, and the bathroom lacked soap; it appeared that the room had only been spot cleaned. Because of the limited availability for a longer stay, I spent Saturday at Hard Rock, and I was very impressed by the quality of the rooms there. As for the food and drinks at this hotel, they were quite good.
The hotel is quite outdated. We upgraded to the premium suite, but the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, and we were informed that this was the most recently renovated area. The overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Additionally, there were no housekeeping services provided unless you stayed for at least five nights. Reserva una mesa ahora
Alexis in Diamond room and front desk is the nicest person we have encountered in our traveling. She is kind, helpful, knowledgeable, informative , goes the extra mile and genuinely cares about the people she is checking in. She is a gold star rating. We have totally enjoyed our stay thanks to Alexis.
