We go to Amerigo about once a week. We eat mainly off of the lunch menu or the early bird menu. We love Chicken Acuto, the pizzas and the salads. From the time you walk in and meet Debbie the hostess, then your server, then you walk out, everything goes well. I always order a cocktail and Kevin makes sure it is what I like. We like the bar area booths and are lucky enough to get them early afternoon. We go so often that between Debbie, Kevin, Angela, Amanda, they pretty much know what we are going to order. If you have a problem, Andrew, the manager, can get it fixed for you. This is a friendly, good quality, good value for your restaurant, that we think you will be happy dining here.
The chicken piccata was inedible. The sauce was gray and there was none of the traditional lemon flavor. It is ordinarily a light dish but this version had lots of mushrooms and that gray sauce all making a very hearty dish. The only familiar and traditional piccata ingredient was capers which I enjoyed. I are part of one chicken breast and brought the rest home which I discarded. I will return for my favorite chicken margarite but never for the piccata.
It was our anniversary; it would have been nice to get a free dessert or a coupon off to return. Most restaurants give something for birthdays, anniversaries and or special events. We have eaten here several times and the same. When we dine at Season 52 and other restaurants we always are well received and given some type of free dessert or a coupon for our next visit.
I was there to celebrate a birthday. We had an excellent server. He was attentive and made sure we were adequately served. Our arrival time was 4:30 pm and we ordered from the early bird menu. I’ve never had a bad experience at Amerigo’s. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent service. I had the salmon on the lunch menu. It was delicious, although slightly overcooked. Maybe the server should have asked how I wanted the salmon done. It still tasted delicious.
Great saltimbocca, great server. Just wish entree came out AFTER our salads were finished. It came out all at once.
So glad Chef doesn't use a lot of pepper in dishes which overpowers flavor of food.
