Amma’s Kitchen has consistently been our favorite buffet for Indian cuisine. They primarily focus on vegan and vegetarian options, offering a wide variety of choices for vegans. One of the great features of their buffet is the ability to order some dishes from the kitchen that aren't included in the buffet, though the portions are typically smaller, which is reasonable. The quality of the food is excellent, with several plant-based protein options, an array of breads, soups, and many condiments. My family and I had lunch here today, and I found an insect in my sambar. We immediately informed one of the female staff members, who briefly looked at the bowl and took it away without any apology or reaction. When we asked her if they would replace the sambar, but she acted ignorant of the situation and walked away once again without a word of apology. Later, another employee came to check on us, and we told him about the insect. He demanded proof, which we didn't have because we didn't think of taking a picture. He simply left with a shrug. We really love this place and the food, but we hope they improve their standards and provide better training for their staff.
It used to be good place , if you are looking for indain food i would not suggest this place ,Got a bug in gulab jamun, idli are half cooked, Chutney’s are cold& don’t expect chai and dosa to be authentic the flour of dosa always tastes sour.
We stopped by on our way to Kentucky. The food was pure vegetarian, which I am. Enjoyed Idly and Vada with Sambar, which was delicious. Made sure to stop by for lunch buffet on our way back to Detroit. The buffet was very good.

Worst south Indian buffet I have ever eaten. Everything was stale and tasteless. The place was grimy.
May be kosher but not authentic and not made using quality ingredients.
