hubby really wanted an ice cream and that was the first ice cream place we went past during our visit to glenelg. There was no one except us, so I really thought about it. I had the white chic and celestial and nabeby had cookies and cream. There was a sign that they made fresh waffels daily. / I am quite sure that these cone were weeks old and not even sure whether made in business, they tasted stale, the ice itself also tasted, I thought it was the taste at first place, but then I tried the other and also tasted it. I then remembered that the refrigerator somehow didn't work properly and a quantity of water condensation was on the front of the display and it was hard to read the ice cream...

To end a pleasant trip to Glenelg, we decided to cap everything off with some ice cream. After all, no visit to the beach is ever complete without ice cream, be it in summer and winter, right? Andersen's is reputed to have some of the yummiest waffles cones around and so, it was no surprise that we decided to give it a go. The ice cream selection is decently sized, with a few of the usual flavours and a few less common variations. The sister opted for a boysenberry flavoured one whilst I craved for my all time favourite cookies and cream. I love how my scoop of ice cream had quite a generous porion of cookie chunks in it as it added a lot of texture contrast to the ice cream. Service...read...

a friend recently reminded me of a large episode of the west wing, where one of the figures explains how she would like to fight cold (weather) with more cold (ice cream). I decided to do that when I stop in glenelg on the way to the airport. when I was in royal copenhagen lately, I stopped at her competition over the street – Andersen’s. the jetty road eisdielen are certainly quieter in winter, but the offers remain excellent. I went straight to the sorbets and was very excited to see that they offer blood orange. a regular cup was $5,50 and it took one to get through the part. first, the sorbet was a tad fussy, which...read more

Great, but.... This is where we go for ice cream in Adelaide. We live near the Port, but when we want a nice ice cream we head to Glenelg. In general the quality and the quantity is adequate, but the last time we visited we left with mixed feelings. The cone was too hard and without taste, the size of the scoops was almost half and the finger nails of the guy that served were dirty. Please, your ice cream is great, most of the staff are very nice but don't allow some nasty staff spoil your image.

Known for their award winning ice creams, the difference is their use of fresh cream and the absence of artificial flavours or colours. To complement their ice creams, they have freshly made waffle cones, as well as sundae baskets, waffles, ice cream cakes and milkshakes.

recently returned and it seems to have gone downhill. the ice was very icey and the Danish nougat, who used to be so delicious, tasted nothing like it was before. actually, it didn't taste like nougat, so it looks like I'm on the hunt after another ice-cracked rock. Reserva una mesa ahora

I don't mind getting fat on their ice cream. Delicious and love the selection! Drop your prices slightly so I don't spend so much to fix my craving for your delicious scoops!
